My number one goal for this week is to spend less money on food.  I know, I know - not evident by the number of times I am eating out, but those were previously arranged plans.  My grocery list for the week is relatively short and includes some Joey's staples that we seem to be out of (cheese sticks, ham/turkey, frozen veggies).  Let's see if I can get out of the grocery store for less than $50.

Note - I try not to make a habit of being so far under my points target for the day, but it was sick day around here and food just wasn't that high on my list of priorities.  It should all balance out over the course of the week, though.  Sundays are usually a bit of a disaster as far as eating goes.

Let's Try This Again

I'm not even going to get into how many times I say this.  It's been way too emotional of a year to worry about addressing my long term issues with eating right now.  I started counting my points again yesterday.  As of that morning, I am pretty much at my original starting point.  I'll count it as a small victory that I'm not up at all.

I did decide that I'm going back to journaling what I eat here.  As someone recently pointed out, it's my blog and it really doesn't matter if my eating habits aren't interesting to the world.  It's what will work for me - for now at least.  I'm sure it won't last long given my diet ADD.

Anyway, I'm back.  For now.
